A poem inspired by Psalm 126
I dream of the day when restoration will come and settle upon us, wrapping us tightly in joy and unexpected mercy.
I dream of the day when laughter and singing will replace our tears of sorrow and hopes diminished.
I dream of the day when others will look at us and say, “The LORD has certainly done great things!”
I dream of the day when God will turn our dry desert land into plush gardens with streams of living water.
And while I dream, I will continue to do what is good and pleasing to the Lord. I will love well, I will offer grace, I will hope. (Galatians 6)
And while I dream, I will stand upon the promises of God, believing He will turn my mourning into joyful dancing and my sorrow into gladness. (Psalm 30)
And while I dream, I will not let my HOPE die. I will keep my eyes on Him who is able to do immeasurably more than I could ever hope or imagine! (Ephesians 3)
And while I dream, I will continue to sow the seeds of love and peace. I will be patient and kind, gentle, faithful, and good (Galatians 5)
I will continue to dream.
